Wool Cotton and Mix Fabrics

A blend is a mixture of two or more fibers. In yarn spinning, different compositions, lengths, diameters, or colors may be combined to create a blend. Blended textiles are fabrics or yarns produced with a combination of two or more types of different fibers, or yarns to obtain desired traits and aesthetics.

In some cases, yes! Blending these different fabrics together works well to harness the properties of both. These cotton/wool fiber blends: are warmer and more resilient than 100% cotton garments.

The soft cotton feels fantastic next to the skin and keeps a wearer cooler in warmer weather than wool would. Cotton-wool blends are found most often in high-end clothing.

Blended fabrics are able to offer additional qualities

The main difference is that cotton is not stretchy, but wool is. When washed, cotton tends to grow and needs a run in the dryer to shrink
